Introducing our new Paint Pal project!
Open to senior citizens residing in retirement or residential homes in Ontario.
For the last few years the PowerFilled Youth Team has been having bi-monthly paint-nite date nights with seniors residing in local retirement homes in and around the GTA. However, due to safety concerns around the spread of Covid-19, we have had to cancel these events until further notice. However, we have come up with an fun new way to keep connected with your senior friends.
How It Works
- Interested seniors will complete the contact information section below. (or have someone close complete the online contact info section)
- The senior participant will be matched with a PFYTO team member.
- PFYTO team members will create a paint project and complete it 3/4 of the way. They will also write up a short card for their "paint pal" and package it up for mailing. (Note: each package includes craft materials to finish the project, the painting as well as a written card, blank card, stamp, envelope.)
- The paint pal package will be mailed out to the senior participant with a card and instructions, plus the materials to complete the "Paint Pal project".
- The senior participant has the option respond to the Paint Pal by taking a picture of the completed paint project and send it back with the card.

* Once submitted please allow 10-14 days to receive your paint pal package. In the interest of safety, consider waiting a few days before opening your package upon receipt.
